A really bad day (and possibly night)
Today was one of those days I always dreaded to live through. Excuse my French, but I had a f!ed-up morning all the way to the afternoon. An old friend of mine (pain that is) decided to pay me a visit early this morning as I woke up. Its a pain I haven’t experienced since my early teenage years, which, as usual, scares the hell out of me. The pain was like having a spear piercing right through my chest – so painful that I thought the dreaded day has come. At last death was knocking on the door. But the only comfort I had was that it was the Ramadan month. Well that is me; always looking at the brighter side of things
.
I hope you guys had a better day.
Advocate,
I am so sorry and hoping that it isn’t too serious. Mayhaps you should get it checked. Meanwhile, I hope that you are feeling better now. Keeping you in my prayers. Hang in there.

Oh my, Advocate, I hope that had passed and you’re feeling better now. You said you had it as a young teen, did you injure that part of your chest?

AMTAF & Aya, thank you. As a young boy I climbed from the roofs of vacated houses to trees of all kinds. I fell from the roof of a house once as a teen and landed on my chest. It was a bloody bet you see- who could run faster on the roof. I did but then I slipped. Twas an unforgettable experience. I was taken to the doctor who said I would be ok. Had few problems with the pain as a teen but since then nothing. For it to return now just frightened me. I am old now, I can not withstand a great deal of pain like before.
PS: I am much better now. Alhamdullilaah by the night I was back to myself. Walahi humans are weak- they just dont know it.

I am sorry to hear that, i hope you are well soon inshaallah. I would suggest that you see a specialists. My aunt was in a car accident 12 years ago and a few summers ago she has developed pain. We took her to all the doctors here in USA but they said that it is old age. After that we took her to germany and they said that it was a major vein that was damaged by the accident accident. They offered two options one was surgery and the other was to limit the use of her left arm while she was on med and accupucture. She is better now. To make a long stroy short have it looked at. And i hope it is not serious.

You will die at some point, no escaping that so in the meanwhile you may as well be pain-free.
My new motto. Don’t know perhaps it’s something about your return to the motherland that triggered it. Something you ate? Pain has a funny way of appearing where the problem isn’t. Stop being a bloke and get it seen to. Or else I’ll get my new physio out to get you.

As strong as we may believe we are, we humans are truly weak. I’m glad your pain has subsided bro.

ND, so sorry to hear about your aunite really. Accidents are terrible and their consequnces tend to linger beyond and far longer than the accident itself. I know it must feel for her and family. My father died of one- a car accident while on a business trip. She was lucky to have been taken to Germany. I hope she gets better, amin.
Tito, adeer I am intending to hang in there for as long as possible. Aniga igu daa midaa
.
Paradise, lol. Nice motto. You are right I will die at some point but for this pain,I suspect a foul play. Qofbaa wax igu soo tuuray- it felt like a needle poking a voodoo doll made out of me. Just wondering who’s doing that? Just kidding. You know the old joke.
And no, it is nothing I ate in Africa. I didn’t eat those delicacies I hoped to sample. So it can’t be the food. It was delicious.
Sam, absolutely sxb. Weak indeed. Thanks brother.
